"DDS Schienenverkehr" completely updated

GERMAN RAILWAY NETWORK DATA NOW ROUTABLE

An extensively updated version of the "DDS Schienenverkehr" (Rail Transport) data set is available, effective immediately. For the first time the data in the new release is completely routable.

For this purpose, in addition to the yearly update of the data, the remaining gaps in rail network coverage were closed and the links to railway stations were established. This was possible in part because a complete topological node-edge model was imposed on the rail traffic data.

Also new: The entire railway network is now seamlessly classified according to means of transport, and routes can also be displayed separately for the individual railway network types. This allows countless new possibilities for target-group oriented site marketing.
