The FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany has not only been a profit for a few soccer teams: With a sales volume of more than 4 billion $ worldwide it was the largest marketing event within the last years. To be prepared for the next FIFA World Cup in South Africa, DDS provides the street networks of South Africa in different specifications for various purposes. For e.g. the version "Cosmetic" is perfectly suitable for the creation of maps and backgroung images, whereas the "Route" data provides all informations for routing or navigation purposes. All street networks can also be combined with various further attributes as for e.g. several points of interest and topographic layers.
